Connect Telegram and configure Replymate for automated DM conversations.
Telegram is one of Replymate’s supported platforms. This guide covers setup and best practices.
Connecting Telegram
From the dashboard:
- Navigate to Setup → Bots
- Select Add bot and choose Telegram
- Follow the connection flow to link your account
- Confirm the bot status shows Connected
How Replymate handles Telegram DMs
When someone sends you a DM:
- Replymate receives the message server-side
- Your trained persona generates a reply
- The message is sent with human-like typing delays
- The conversation progresses through your funnel stages
Best practices
- Set a clear CTA stage — don’t pitch in message one
- Use multi-bubble messages — enabled by default for natural flow
- Monitor the inbox daily — take over high-value leads manually
- Update personas often — refine based on what converts
Troubleshooting
Bot not replying? Check that the bot is powered on and the Telegram connection is active.
Replies feel off? Refine persona style rules and add more knowledge about your offer.
